Melania Hidalgo

I am a dual Spanish-American journalist educated in the French system with a BSJ in Political Science and Journalism from Northwestern University.

My interests and passion lie in U.S. politics, centering a majority of my university theses and reporting on public opinion, voting behavior and partisan sorting. I brought this lens into CBS News and CNBC EMEA's international coverage.

Fluent in Spanish, French, and Italian, I thrive at an international news desk, enjoying all elements of production and editing as well as international political, cultural, and social reporting.
